SwimMark FAQs

We are a Masters-only club, can we become SwimMark accredited?

Yes, clubs that specifically cater for masters swimmers can still gain SwimMark. Elements relating to child safeguarding will not need to be completed.

Where can I access SwimMark and Clubmark logos?

Logos can be found within the ‘Resources’ tab on the SwimMark portal. We ask SwimMark accredited clubs to ensure they are using the most up to date logos on all websites/club correspondence.

What is Clubmark?

Clubmark is a Sport England accreditation scheme for community sports clubs and is used by National Governing Bodies that don’t have their own kitemark.

All clubs gaining SwimMark automatically receive Clubmark status and any benefits associated with this. Clubs that have already set up an account on Clubmark should be able to find their unique Clubmark ID number. This is in the ‘Find my club’ / ‘Edit my club’ tabs, however if you have any queries please get in touch.

Where can I find the SwimMark portal?

Click here to go to the portal.

I’ve forgotten my password for the portal?

You can use the ‘Forgotten password’ button on the portal homepage. If you encounter any problems with this please get in touch so we can look into things.

What type of files can I upload to the portal?

The portal accepts standard formats such as Word and Excel, in addition to picture files such as .gif and .jpeg. If you have the ability to PDF documents it would be useful to limit storage.

The maximum size for any document on the portal is 15MB – if you exceed this you will see an error message.

We have submitted a piece of evidence but are unable to view it.

The club may have clicked ‘save’ instead of ‘submit’ – please click submit and it should then appear. If you are trying to view evidence from a previous years submission please make sure you are in the correct accreditation period rather than ‘in progress’ in the dropdown accreditation box.

I am having problems accessing the site.

Please email clubdevelopment@swimming.org for support with the online system.

I wish to add a new user to the portal.

The portal links directly to the Swim England membership database. Accurate membership data should be available for affiliated clubs. If you can’t find a specific membership in the first instance please ensure you are in the ‘users’ tab and then hit the ‘refresh’ button. If you still have issues please contact clubdevelopment@swimming.org.

Please note that Google Chrome and Firefox appear to function better when using the portal and we’d therefore recommend that you download these if you encounter any problems
