DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Management Group are pleased to advise that their next National Scorers Course will be taking place at Irlam & Cadishead Leisure Centre on Sunday 20th September 2026 from 1pm – 4pm. \nThe course tutor will be Fiona Millington \nMinimum Age is 16 years \nParticipants are required to bring a calculator (or phone calculator function)\, paper\, pen and pencil\, individuals can bring a laptop but not essential. \nThere is free onsite car parking and a cafe on site however participants are advised to bring their own drinks/refreshments. \n  \nParticipants are requested to familiarise themselves with the following documents: \nSENW Terms and Conditions \nCode of Conduct \n  \nClosing date: 9am Thursday 17th September 2026

SUMMARY:Artistic Swimming Judge Level 1 - Online Part 1 (Online)
DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Management Group are pleased to announce we are running a Judge 1 course during October/December 2026. \nThe Judge 1 course is split into two sections (online and face to face)\, this is the ‘ONLINE\, Part 1’ of the course – to complete the full qualification both parts must be completed. \nThe course involves two modules; Figures and Routines with candidates gaining experience and knowledge between the two. Prior to taking the first module candidates must complete the Introduction to Judging Artistic Swimming Course \nCandidates must be 16 years old to take the Judge 1 course. Once qualified they will be able to judge at level 1 and 2 competitions. \nCourse content will include: \n\nUse of marking scales\nDevelop understanding of basic movements and positions\nAble to identify Figures in current age groups (12U)\nEthics\nDevelop knowledge and understanding of Free Routines – Combination Routines specifically\nKnowledge of Grade 1 and 2 criteria and assessment criteria.\nAt the end of the course the candidates sit a written and a video exam\n\nThe Online Session will take place on Saturday 10th October 2026 via Zoom from 9am to 1pm. \nDeadline for bookings 9am Thursday 8th October 2026. \nSENW Terms and Conditions
