DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West is pleased to announce a Water Polo Regional Level Referee Course\, taking place on Sunday 11th January 2026 at The Pelican Centre\, Tyldesley. \nThis course is designed for volunteers who wish to progress to refereeing at Regional events and help expand our network of qualified referees. \n\nCourse Timetable\n\n\n12:00 – 14:00 | Rules \n\n\n14:00 – 17:00 | Application of the Rules \n\n\n\nPost-Course Requirements\n\n\nParticipants must complete an online test at home and submit results to the course tutor. \n\n\nWithin 12 months\, candidates are required to complete three practical assessments\, each signed off by a National League Referee. \n\n\n\nPreparation\nBefore attending\, please review the FINA Water Polo Rules – Referees Manual. \n\nPre-Requisites\n\n\nMinimum age: 15 years and 6 months on the day of the course. \n\n\nClub Referees (any age): Must be supervised during competitive matches by an adult qualified to at least Regional Level Referee. \n\n\n\nKey Information\n\n\nClosing date for bookings: 9:00am\, Wednesday 7th January 2026 \n\n\nTerms & Conditions \n\n\nPersonal belongings are the responsibility of the individual and are brought into venues at their own risk.
