Tully Kearney of Manchester dominated the women’s event, making it to the wall in a time of 5:37.67 for 694 BDP. The S7 swimmer knocked three seconds from her heat swim to take gold.
Second place went to Harriet Dickinson (S10) of Gloucester. She added silver to her bronze from the 100m Free on day one, clocking 5:28.66 for 554 BDP.
Drew Stables, who beat Dickinson in the 100m Free, took bronze. The Cockermouth swimmer touched in 5:35.45 for 521 BDP.
Men’s 400 M Freestyle
Callum Pearson (S10) of Hastings hammered home a new personal best time in the men’s MC 400m Freestyle to take the title on day three of the Swim England National Summer Meet.
Second place went to Craig McNeil, also S10 classification, from City of Salford. He touched in 4:49.74 (552 BDP) for silver. Isle of Man swimmer Benjamin Grainger finished off the podium, taking bronze with 4:53.66 for 530 BDP.
