The event was held at Liverpool Aquatics Centre this weekend in which Bridgefield WPC were victorious after beating silver medalists Tyldesley 10-5 in the final. City of Chester took home the bronze medal after beating Radcliffe SWPC in the third place match. Congratulations to all the teams who took part Bridgefield WPC, City of Chester SWPC, Tyldesley SWPC, City of Preston Aquatics, Liverpool WPC, Radcliffe SWPC and Warrington SWPC.

The North West Thunder team won the U18 Girls Division One Inter-Regional Competition in Blackpool this weekend, beating the South West Region 13-9 in their final match. Congratulations to Emily Pyper (3), Molly Boniface-Ashton (3), Kelsy Evans (2), Jess Robb (2), Lucy Mills (1), Evie Jones (1) and Katie Bowater (1). Following on from a monthly training programme ran by the Swim England North West Water Polo Academy, the girls demonstrated a fantastic team effort.
The young North West Lightning team also gained valuable experience in Division Two . The final score was 7-15 with Wales winning the match.
