DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West are pleased to announce a Water Polo Club Table Officials Course which will take place on 11th October 2026 at Sugden Sports Centre\, 114 Grosvenor St\, Manchester M1 7HL \nThe Club Table Official is the lowest grade of qualification aimed at beginners or those who would like to volunteer at a club level. DESCRIPTION:The Swim England Welfare Officer Training (Time to Listen) course is designed for Club Welfare Officers (or Assistant Welfare Officers\, where space permits) who are aged 18 or over. \nEligibility\n\n\nAttendees must have completed a Swim England Safeguarding Course within the last three years. \n\n\nAttendees must be current members of Swim England. \n\n\nMinimum age for participation: 18 years. \n\n\nCourse Details\n\n\nDuration: 3 hours (with breaks provided throughout) \n\n\nDelivery: Online classroom via Zoom \n\n\nTechnical Requirements\nTo access the online classroom\, you will need: \n\n\nA headset or a device with speakers \n\n\nA microphone (or device with built-in microphone) \n\n\nCost and Refund Policy\n\n\nCourse fee: £20.00 \n\n\nRefunds: No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date.(Please refer to the full Terms and Conditions for details.) \n\n\nIf the course is cancelled by the Regional Office\, a refund or alternative course will be offered. \n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n\nClosing Date for bookings: 9:00am\, Monday 23rd November 2026 \n\n\nProvider: Swim England North West Limited uses Zoom Communications Inc. to deliver this course. \n\n\nSessions may be recorded for training and quality assurance purposes

SUMMARY:Swim England North West – Water Polo Club & Regional Level (combined) Referee Course
DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West is pleased to announce a Water Polo Regional Level Referee Course\, taking place on Sunday 10th January 2027 at The Pelican Centre\, Tyldesley. \nThis course is designed for volunteers who wish to progress to refereeing at Regional events and help expand our network of qualified referees. \n\nCourse Timetable\nPart 1 Rules – Club Level \nPart 2 Application of the rules – Regional Level \n\n\n12:00 – 14:00 | Rules \n\n\n14:00 – 17:00 | Application of the Rules \n\n\n\nPost-Course Requirements\n\n\nParticipants must complete an online test at home and submit results to the course tutor. \n\n\nWithin 12 months\, candidates are required to complete three practical assessments\, each signed off by a National League Referee. \n\n\n\nPreparation\nBefore attending\, please review the World Aquatics\, Part Six: Water Polo Rules. \n\nPre-Requisites\n\n\nMinimum age: 15 years and 6 months on the day of the course. \n\n\nClub Referees (any age): Must be supervised during competitive matches by an adult qualified to at least Regional Level Referee. \n\n\n\nKey Information\n\nTaking notes is optional\, as all participants will receive a copy of the presentation materials upon completion of the course.\nNo refreshments will be provided\, so participants are advised to bring their own. A vending machine is also available on site.\nthe course will be delivered by John Maddock\n\nClosing date for bookings: 9:00am\, Wednesday 6th January 2027 \n\n\nTerms & Conditions \n\n\nPersonal belongings are the responsibility of the individual and are brought into venues at their own risk.
