DESCRIPTION:Swim England are running an online course for individuals to learn how to be a Synchronisation Technical Controller (STC)\, covering the basics of Synchronisation\, how to recognise errors and how to score and mark the errors. \nThis 3 hour course is available for: \nAny Level 3 Judge who has not attended a separate STC course or who did not cover this on their Level 3 Course \nAny Level 2/ Club Coach who is keen to volunteer and work as an STC and/or has interest in gaining knowledge to work towards a Difficulty Technical Controller in the future \nThe next course is on Saturday 12 September 2026 2-5pm and will be followed by a short exam. \nTo register for the course please complete the form below: \nArtistic Swimming Synchronisation TC Course – Swim England \n(A link to the form can also be found on the Officials section of the Artistic Swimming Hub on the Swim England Website swimming.org found under more on the top toolbar) \n  \nThis course is being ran by Swim England\, not Swim England North West.

SUMMARY:Artistic Swimming Judge Level 1 - Part 1 (Online)
DESCRIPTION:Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Management Group are pleased to announce we are running a Judge 1 course during October/December 2026. \nThe Judge 1 course is split into two sections (online and face to face)\, this is the ‘ONLINE\, Part 1’ of the course – to complete the full qualification both parts must be completed. \nThe course involves two modules; Figures and Routines with candidates gaining experience and knowledge between the two. Prior to taking the first module candidates must complete the Introduction to Judging Artistic Swimming Course \nCandidates must be 16 years old to take the Judge 1 course. Once qualified they will be able to judge at level 1 and 2 competitions. \nCourse content will include: \n\nUse of marking scales\nDevelop understanding of basic movements and positions\nAble to identify Figures in current age groups (12U)\nEthics\nDevelop knowledge and understanding of Free Routines – Combination Routines specifically\nKnowledge of Grade 1 and 2 criteria and assessment criteria.\nAt the end of the course the candidates sit a written and a video exam\n\nThe Online Session will take place on Saturday 10th October 2026 via Zoom from 9am to 1pm. \nDeadline for bookings 9am Thursday 8th October 2026. \nSENW Terms and Conditions
