We have just begun a census to find out the size of the Learn to Swim market and the aquatics workforce in England.

This involves contacting every leisure site, learn to swim provider and aquatic club in England. We have a team of Insight Data Administrators  who are helping us to find out what frameworks each Learn to Swim provider offers, what programmes are used, how many people are learning how to swim, the number of clubs in England including non-affiliated, and much more.

This is a huge piece of research – the biggest the SWim Engalnd Insight Team will take on this year – and it will benefit many different areas of the business. The data collection will be ongoing until Christmas with the results out in the Spring.
