Swim England North West is one of eight regions that forms Swim England (Amateur Swimming Association) the National Governing Body for Swimming, Open Water, Diving, Water Polo and Artistic Swimming in England. The region has its own set of constitutional rules which can be found by clicking here.
Swim England North West also has responsibility for all issues appertaining to Governance including constitutional rules for both the region and its clubs.
Together the Swim England North West Management Board and staff are collectively responsible for managing and developing all aquatic disciplines within the region, with support from;

Under Swim England Constitutional rules all clubs have to be affiliated to the region and a county association. Many clubs choose to also affiliate to a local association. To find a club why not click on the matrix at the bottom of the page.
CSP’s are networks of local agencies committed to working together to increase the number of people taking part in sport and local activities. CSP’s deliver Sport England programmes at a local level and within the North West we have 5 networks. As a National Governing Body partner, we work with Active Cheshire, Merseyside Sports Partnership (MSP), Active Cumbria, Lancashire Sports Partnership and GreaterSport.
