Swim England North West covers the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire and is responsible for ensuring that development “pathways” for all levels of competition exists across the region.
The region have a Swimming Management Group which meets quarterly to ensure that all aspects of swimming within the region are promoted. The group consists of representatives from the three County Associations, Masters Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Para-Swimming, Officials and Licensing of all regional meets.
Swim England North West runs Championships at regional level and relies on counties and clubs to provide the next layers of competition. Swimmers competing at the SwimEngland North West Championships can post times to qualify for British and National Championships.
