Congratulations to all the swimmers who took part in the Swim England North West Winter Regional Championships 2024 last weekend,

A Special mention goes out to Colin Evison

Colin has done a huge amount for both swimming and para swimming not just within the North West but all over the world including several European para championships and also several world para events including London, Tokyo and Paris para Olympics.

Alongside these fantastic achievements he has been the Swim England North West officials coordinator, helping and mentoring many of the officials within the region and helping them on their own journey of officiating including the training of many referees within the region.

He has also taken part in many regional groups and helped organise many regional events including 2024 Winter Championships.

Unfortunately, his role as officials coordinator has come to an end, on behalf of the region and all of its officials, we would like to say a big thank you,

The Directors of Swim England North West Limited and Regional Office Staff would like to thank the Swimming Management Group, Events Management Group, Officials and Volunteers for their tireless effort and support of the 2024 Winter Championships.
