Congratulations to the North West Tigers U14 water polo team who competed in the Inter-Regional Championships this weekend.

Beginning the competition with the additional pressure of the North West being the reigning champions, the boys played exceptionally well throughout the whole weekend, showcasing their teamwork that progressively got better and better throughout the tournament.

They had some struggles as a team to start off with, especially coming up against tough oppositions but the boys stuck with it and eventually found their feet.

Their communication in the water was seamless and they were very strong as a team in both attack and defence. With every match, their confidence grew, resulting in a well-earned victory that highlighted their dedication and hard work throughout the weekend.

The weekend ended with a fantastic final North West Tigers 3 – 2 North East Steelers
