SENW Athlete Diving Development Sessions

Swim England North West Regional Diving Management Group is excited to offer a block of 2 Regional Diving Development Sessions – exclusively for Swim England North West Diving Athletes from Manchester Aquatics Centre Diving Club or Burscough Diving Club.  The sessions are an exciting opportunity for divers to sharpen their skills, gain new techniques, and train with experienced coaches – with guest coach Libby Mitson from City of Leeds DC again offering to lead these sessions for the region.

Session Dates & Times

All sessions will take place at:

• The Sugden Centre, 114 Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7HL (Land session) and
• Manchester Aquatics Centre, Booth St East, Manchester M13 9SS (Pool session):

Session 1 – Sunday 14th June 2026

• Focus Topic:  Forward/Inward
• 1145-1315hrs – Studio
• 1400-1600hrs – Dive Pit

Session 2 – Sunday 5th July 2026

• Focus Topic:  Back/Reverse
• 1145-1315hrs – Studio
• 1400-1600hrs – Dive Pit

Parents are encouraged to stay at the venue to watch the session in progress, speak to the coach during the break and participate in parental discussions.

Eligibility:

• Athletes must be registered members of either MAC Diving or Burscough Diving Club
• Athletes must be either Club Train (Cat 1) or Club Compete (Cat 2) registered athletes
• Athletes must be able to confidently perform 2 dives from Poolside/1m Boards
• Athletes must be at least 8 years of age as of 31st December 2026

Bookings will be taken in two separate phases:

• Phase 1
• Friday 29th May 2026
  • Bookings restricted to Age Group & Skills level divers until 9am Tuesday 2nd June 2026

• Phase 2
• Tuesday 2nd June 2026
  • 9am Tuesday June 2026, any remaining spaces will be opened up to other eligible athletes

• Places will be available on a first come first served basis on the above dates
• Sessions to be paid for in full (£40) no option to split bookings
• Maximum of 30 divers per session
• All athletes must complete a SENW Health Declaration Form and agree to the code of conduct before 1st session

Please note, FINAL deadline for all bookings will be Monday 8th June 2026 (or when sold out whichever is first)
