Team North West delivered a powerhouse performance at the 2026 Artistic Swimming Regional Games, held at Hengrove Park Leisure Centre, Bristol on Friday 29th May, securing the Regional Games trophy for the second consecutive year. With a 19‑strong squad and dedicated coaching team, the North West athletes showcased exceptional skill, determination and team spirit from start to finish.

The competition opened with the Figure event, where all 19 North West swimmers took to the water. Our youngest athletes set the tone with outstanding performances in a highly competitive field:

The Youth Regional Figure event brought even more success, with City of Salford’s Eleanor Burlinson, claiming a superb Bronze medal in a field of 68 swimmers.

After enjoying impressive displays from the GB squads – including North West’s own Lena Ramanah‑Beck (City of Salford), the excitement continued with the 8×50m relay.
Team North West delivered a phenomenal performance, jumping from their 6th place position in 2025, to an incredible 2nd place in 2026!
Relay Team: Eva Goodman, Eloise Rose, Bianca Menhart, Eleanor Burlinson, Tess Burlinson (City of Salford), Skyla Layton (Denton), Theadora Rees‑John, (Stockport Metro) Lucy Adam, (City of Preston).
A brilliant collective effort that showcased speed, stamina and teamwork.
The final event, the Land Routine – judged virtually – saw Team North West secure another impressive 2nd place finish.

With strong results across all three events – Figures, Relay and Land Routine, ‘Team North West’ proved their consistency and excellence, proudly lifting the Regional Games trophy for the second year running.
This victory reflects not only the athletes’ hard work but also the dedication of the entire support team.
