Well done to all the athletes who took part in the final session of the Swim England North West Open Water this weekend.

The camps first session was held in Wigan focusing on distance swimming and the skills required. The final session was held at Sale Water Park, where the athletes got the opportunity to learn open water skills and swim the course which will be used for the Open Water Championships at the end of June. The coaches on the programme were Bob Bolton (Trafford Metro and Open Swim UK), Molly James (Winsford) and Lee Stringfellow (Wigan WASPS).

The water temperature was a fresh 18.5 degrees, the athletes did extremely good in water many experiencing this for the first time.
