Swim England North West are pleased to announce the initial training session and selection of the team to represent the North West Region at the U14 Boys Inter-Regional Championships 2026.
We are delighted to invite all North West players born 2013 and younger to attend a series of training and preparation for the forthcoming U14 Inter Regional Championships being held at Walsall Gala Baths.
Competition date 5th & 6th December 2026
(All athletes must be available this weekend).
Players must be registered as Swim England Club Compete (previously Cat 2) in order to attend Regional Academy Training.
For players born 2013/2014
Trial session time and venue
Saturday 24th October 2026, 14:00 – 17:00 at East Manchester Leisure Centre.
Saturday 21st November 2026, 14:00-17:00 at East Manchester Leisure Centre
A further training session may be arranged for the final team at the end of November date, time and venue to be confirmed.
Sessions will consist of
Introduction
Warm Up
Swim tests
Technique assessment
Scrimmages
Match play
Participants should bring trainers and kit to each session for a land warm up which may be required for some sessions.
