After several years of discussions the Health and Safety Executive have published an updated version of HSG179 Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools, which can be found here.

This document is the primary guidance document for all Pool Operators on how they should manage their swimming pools safely, how to conduct risk assessments and produce Pool Safe Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans.
