It’s time to celebrate the people, clubs and achievements that make our aquatics community so special.
The annual SENW Regional Awards Ceremony is one of the highlights of the Swim England North West calendar, recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements, dedication and passion shown across the region. From inspirational volunteers and committed coaches to innovative clubs, teachers and champions of inclusion and wellbeing, these awards shine a spotlight on those who make a real difference.
This year, we are delighted to introduce a brand-new ‘Athlete of the Year Award’ and ‘Community Aquatics Teacher of the Year Award’ , providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our athletes and teachers, alongside the many individuals and organisations who contribute to the success of aquatics across the North West.
Awards will be presented across a wide range of categories, covering clubs, coaches, teachers, volunteers, inclusion, health and wellbeing, and much more.
📅 Save the date: The 2026 SENW Regional Awards will take place on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Leigh Sports Village, Leigh.
(winners of the above awards will progress to the Swim England National Awards ‘longlist’ for their relevant category – these longlists, made up of winners from all Swim England regions, will be reviewed and judged by Swim England Awards Judging Panel to determine top three finalists, who will be invited to attend the Swim England Awards ceremony, to be held in early 2027, with further information to follow)
