Swim England North West hosted the U16 Girls Inter Regional Championships at Liverpool Aquatic Centre 25/26 June 2022.

North West Thunder won the competition with 6 out of 6 wins, including hard fought semi -final against West Midlands and final against a strong Ireland Team, Captain Harriet Ornsby lifting the U16 trophy alongside her team mates.

Congratulations to all of the girls who were selected, they all contributed to excellent results and showed a good team bond and work ethic in a fantastic atmosphere created by parents and volunteers, with special congratulations Lucy Blenkinship who won the Tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Tilly Armer who won Tournament’s Best Goalkeeper!
