After much anticipation, Swim England launches their nationwide club time trial ‘Level X’, providing club members the opportunity to compete against swimmers from around the country to practice their racing skills and try to make it onto the Level X racing leader boards!

For clubs it’s a great way to engage with your members and give them something to aim for over the next few weeks and months.

The first phase begins on 23rd October with staggered submission times to enable swimmers to build up their training to the longer distance events.

A second phase will be held in 2021 in the hope more clubs will be able to take part.

After each distance is completed, the quickest swimmers in each age group will feature in a national leader board that will be published across Swim England’s website and social media channels.

The first leader board will be all 50m and 100m swims across all strokes including the 100m Individual Medley. Times must be submitted to rankings by 24th November, and the leader boards will then be published on 30th November.

Swimmers wanting to take part in Level X must be a Swim England Category 2 member. To encourage as many swimmers as possible to get involved, current Category 1 members who take part will be automatically upgraded free of charge. This temporary Category 2 membership will be valid until 31st December 2020.
