The first Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Regional Age Groups and Championships for two years, took place on Saturday 5th February at the Palatine Leisure Centre, Blackpool.
The event was well attended with just under 100 swimmers taking part, which is the most the Region has ever had – many of these were competing in a face to face competition for the very first time.
As we emerge from the pandemic, it is encouraging to see that Artistic Swimming participation within the North West is most definitely on the rise.
SENW would like to congratulate all the athletes who took part, and would also thank all the volunteers and officials who assisted in any way to ensure the event ran as smoothly as possible, without them, events like this would not be possible.
