We are seeking to engage one Coach Developer to support Swim England in the delivery of both the Pathway Coach programme and the Pathway Coach Mentoring programme.

As a Coach Developer you will support our Swimming Talent Team to develop and mentor swimming coaches who are currently coaching swimmers at county through to national level.

The fundamental aim of these programmes is to mentor coaches working within the age group / youth pathway, to be able to effectively support the holistic development of their athletes, ensuring that they have a positive sporting experience and are given the best opportunity to realise their full potential.

You will be assigned four coaches to mentor over a 12-month period based on the geographical area the coaches are based in. You will support each coach to identify their key developmental needs, work with them to create an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and support each coach to achieve their goals. You will meet regularly with the coaches in order to monitor and evaluate their progress in line with their IDP, imparting your knowledge and sign posting each coach mentee to appropriate resources and opportunities.
