The Swim England North West Diving Management Group would like to congratulate all those who took part in the SENW National Skills and Age Group Qualifier Diving Competition at Manchester Aquatics Centre this weekend.  This is the first such event hosted by the Region for a number of years with just over 100 athletes taking part from the following clubs:  Burscough Diving Club, Manchester Aquatics Centre Diving Club, Bradford Esprit Diving Club, City of Leeds Diving Club, Sandwell Diving Club, City of Sheffield Diving Club and Sunderland City Dive Team – SCDT.

A huge thank you also goes out to all the Volunteers, Coaches, Team Managers, Athletes, Spectators, Venue Staff, as well as the two special guests who presented medals – Swim England North West’s 2024 President, Mark Ralph and Great Britain’s Olympic Athlete Anthony Harding (due to compete in Synchronised Diving events at the 2024 Olympic Games this summer in Paris).  We would also like to thank the event’s official photographer, Dom from Bespoke Imagery and Neil from NE Swimwear who also attended the competition.

The event was very successful, with many athletes producing dives enabling them to qualify for this year’s GoCardless Swim England Diving National Age Group Championships 2024, due to take place at Sandwell Aquatics Centre, Birmingham from the 27th-30th June 2024.
