The entry requirements of SEQ Level 2 coaching Open water Swimming qualification has been reviewed. Below is the criteria which will apply from 13.03.2023. This post is to inform clubs of the update:
Learners must:
- be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the course
- have experience of open water swimming
And must hold one of the following:
- SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming (or ASA equivalent)
- STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming
- Swim England Assistant Swimming Coach
- Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate
- ASA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Swimming
- 1st 4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Triathlon
- RLSS Pool to Pond award
