The Swim England Senior Coach Programme applications are now open.
As a coach, your inspire and deliver success at all levels. The Senior Coach programme will equip you with the tools to create and develop individualised programmes and optimise the performance levels of aspiring athletes, at both youth and senior level.
Based upon the age and stage of development of your athletes, you will apply the most current and innovative coaching techniques to develop a holistic athlete programme. This, in turn, will improve performance and keep athletes committed and motivated, whilst aligning with the clear messages of Swim England Swimming and Para-Swimming Talent Pathways.
Who Is The Course Designed For?
This programme is for Swim England Level 2 Swimming coaches leading a squad of swimmers throughout their programme and working with those competing at Regional level or above.
Course Content
The year long programme is delivered through a blend of learning days (both online and face to face), online learning and practical poolside sessions. Each candidate on the programme will be assigned a mentor who will provide bespoke in situ support throughout the duration of the course.
All dates below are compulsory for all successful learners to attend.
*These will be held as Zoom Webinars. Swim England intend to run learning dates 2 and 3 at SportPark, Loughborough, LE11 3QF but this will be subject to COVID guidance at the time.

The full programme cost is £2000.
Applications are open from 11th June 2021 and will close on 25th July 2021.
There are up to 30 places available on the programme across England and Wales with shortlisting taking place from the 26th July 2021.
As part of the application process, you will need to submit supporting evidence to confirm that you have met the essential pre-requisite criteria via Google Classroom. You will have access to this workspace within 48 hours of starting your application.
