Swim England’s first Level X Artistic Swimming Virtual Land Games was a huge success following the Facebook Live Stream on Saturday 27th February 2021.
The virtual event – which is the first event Level X Artistic Swimming event – involved entrants filming a routine which was then scored by a panel of judges.
All of Swim England’s category 2 artistic swimmers were invited to put forward one male and one female participant in each of the six age groups.
The winners were revealed during the event which was hosted by Swim England Artistic Swimming Manager, Karen Thorpe.
Olympic hopefuls Isabelle Thorpe and Kate Shortman, made a guest appearance during the live stream to provide inspiration messages for everyone who took part in the event.
Well done to all the North West competitors who took part in this event.
Congratulations to Lena Ramanah-Beck from Salford Synchronised Swimming Club who was crowned 1st in the 12 and under age group, whilst Emma Laycock from Stockport Metro was also crowned the winner in the Junior Female category.
