Assistant Coaching (Swimming) Course – Blackburn & Darwen (Blended Learning) – Fully Booked

Swim England North West are looking for the next generation of aspiring coaches. We believe, this course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to actively support a Swimming Coach in the delivery of a planned training session.

Individuals who successfully complete the course may (subject to bursary criteria being met) be able to access the Regional Coaching Bursary.

Lancashire County Club members may also be able to access the Pat Gabbitas Fund

Pre-Requisites

You must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course

Online work starts 1st April 2023

Theory sessions take place on Saturday 15th April (9.30am-1.30pm), Sunday 15th April (9.00am-12.30pm) & Monday 17th April 2023 (6.00pm-9.30pm) online, via Zoom

Practical sessions take place on:

Wednesday 19th April 2023 (5.45pm-9.15pm) @ Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre, Blackburn BB2 1LQ and

Friday 21st April 2023 (6.45-9.15pm) @ Darwen Leisure Centre, Darwen, BB3 1PW
