The purpose of the Trials is to select athletes for a SE NW Elite Squad and SE NW Development Squad. The Squads will take part in training sessions which will be at an intense workload to help SE NW athletes achieve National and International success, and the chance to be selected for a three day camp in August.
The top 20 ranked swimmers will be invited to form the SE NW Elite Squad. The following 25 ranked swimmers will form the SE NW Development Squad.
No Grade level requirement.
Minimum 9 years of age by 31st December 2018. No upper age limit.
Swimmers must be a member of and represent a North West affiliated Club.
Swimmers may NOT be a member of any 2018 England Talent, Development, Age Group, GB Junior or Senior Squads.
All swimmers will be tested on the 16 assessments to produce an overall ranking.
Please return the attached form complete with swimmers name, date of birth and emergency contact for the day. With an entry fee of £10 per swimmer, cheques made payable to the ASA North West Region.
Can Clubs please provide coaches, judges, assessors and/or volunteers to help with the smooth running of the trials on the day.
Closing dates for entries:- 20th January 2018.
