Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Squad Training 2023 – Invite Only

Congratulations on being selected to take part in the North West Regional Artistic Swimming Training Programme for 2023.

As explained during the Regional Trials booking process, the SENW Regional Artistic Swimming Training Programme will consist of 11 sessions – those accepting their place on the Programme will be expected to attend every session.

Upon accepting your place on the Programme, as per terms and conditions, participants will be required to pay for all 11 sessions in one block payment of £132 per person.

Health Forms have already been received during the booking process for the Trials, however if anyone has any additional or updated information which the Team Manager will need to be advised of, please contact clubdevelopment@swimnorthwest.org for a link to the Health Form so you can submit updated information.

Training dates, venues and times for all training sessions are as follows (Please ensure you take notice of the correct venue for each session as the training will be undertaken at 2 separate venues):

Sessions taking place at the Pelican Centre,

Session Times: 13:00-16:00 on the following dates:

• Sunday 8th January 2023,
• Sunday 12th February 2023,
• Sunday 5th March 2023,
• Sunday 16th April 2023
• Sunday 14th May 2023 and
• Sunday 21st May 2023.

Training will be split as:

• 30 minutes on land
• 2 hours 30 mins in the pool

Sessions taking place at Irlam Leisure Centre

Session Times: 19:00-21:30 on the following dates:

• Friday 27th January 2023,
• Friday 24th February 2023,
• Friday 31st March 2023,
• Friday 28th April 2023 and
• Friday 26th May 2023

Training will be split as:

• 1 hour on land and
• 1 hour 30 mins in the pool – COVID STYLE CHANGE!

The aim of the squad is to attend the Regional Games in Bristol at the start of June – more details and travelling squad selections will be announced at a later date – performance at Regional Training sessions and competitions between now and then will all be considered in the selection process.

Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the individual and are taken into venues at the individuals own risk. Neither Swim England North West nor the venue will be responsible for the loss of or damage to any such belongings. Individuals are advised to use lockers where available.
