An exciting 34-strong British Swimming team descended on the Serbian capital for the 2023 European Junior Swimming Championships, which ran from 4th-9th July in Belgrade.

Congratulations to the North West athletes that competed at the European Junior Swimming Championships:

The final British medalist on the second day came in arguably the most memorable fashion, and it was 14 year old Amelie Blocksidge, one of British Swimming’s youngest ever junior international representatives, who took the silver medal in the final of the Women’s 1500m Freestyle.
