Swim England North West earlier this year provided clubs with information regarding GDPR This included the principles of the Data Protection Act and some FAQ’s.
In an ongoing requirement to support clubs, Sport England commissioned the Sport and Recreation Alliance to lead a project to help support the sports sector meet the legislative requirements for GDPR.

- Individuals’ Rights
- Transferring and Processing Data
- Direct Marketing
We have provided the link to the Sport and Recreation Alliance web site where clubs can now sign up to gain access to these documents produced for sports organisations. In addition further information can also be found on the Information Commissioner’s Office website.
