The 12.30 announcement from Boris Johnson on 23 June 2020, that pools or gyms will not open on the 4th July has surprised us all and Swim England as the National Governing Body is frustrated with the decision.
Swim England Chief Executive, Jane Nickerson has expressed her ‘dismay and frustration’ at the Governments’ failure to help millions of people return to swimming pool.
Swim England has now launched an #OpenOurPools campaign calling for the decision to be reconsidered immediately.
