Swim England North West Artistic Swimming Clubs performed extremely well at the recent Swim England Artistic Swimming National Junior and Senior Championships 2022.  This was the first National Championships event to be held for over 2 years due to the pandemic, with athletes travelling from around the country to compete.

The event took place at Harvey Hadden, Nottingham on the 23rd and 24th April 2022.

The North West Region was represented by swimmers from the following clubs:

• Stockport Metro SC
• City of Salford Synchronised Swimming Club

• Team – (Technical Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence, Alicia Cox, Ellie Alder, Lauren Redfern, Libby Taylor, Prudence Hubbard, Rhiannon Woodhouse, Zoe Taylor (City of Salford SSC)
• Overall Duet – (Technical Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence and Libby Taylor (City of Salford SSC)
• Team – (Combination Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence, Alicia Cox, Amy Outram, Ellie Alder, Lauren Redfern, Libby Taylor, Molly McDermott, Prudence Hubbard, Rhiannon Woodhouse, Zoe Taylor (City of Salford SSC)
• Overall Solo – (Free Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence (City of Salford SSC)
• Overall Duet – (Free Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence and Libby Taylor (City of Salford SSC)
• Team – (Free Routine) – Silver for Aimee Lawrence, Alicia Cox, Amy Outram, Ellie Alder, Lauren Redfern, Libby Taylor, Rhiannon Woodhouse, Zoe Taylor (City of Salford SSC)

City of Salford’s silver medal in the Free Team event, was an emotional result for the club, with it being the final time many of the swimmers will compete.
