Success for SENW Athletes at the 2023 Regional Games

What a fantastic day for our North West swimmers in Bristol at the Swim England Regional Games.

Swimmers from City of Salford SSC, Stockport Metro, Denton Artistic Swimming Club and City of Preston Aquatics teamed up to form ‘Team North West’ and the swimmers did brilliantly.

City of Salford swimmer Lena Ramanah-Beck also competed in the competition for Team England (Youth) and she finished 4th overall in the Figure event – such an amazing achievement for the youngest member of the England team. Lena and her team also performed a display of their Free Team and Combo routines in preparation for their competition in Croatia in 2 weeks. We wish Lena and the Youth team the best of luck!

More NW success:

After her selection announcement earlier this week, NW swimmer Aimee Lawrence (City of Salford) performed in the GB acrobatic team display and it was incredible to see this routine performed. Good Luck to Aimee and the team at the European Games in Poland this summer!

A big thank you to all the officials and volunteers who helped made the competition a brilliant experience for the swimmers and a big thank you to everyone who travelled to Bristol to support the North West Team.
